Taylor Swift is all over the news and magazines as she gears up for the release of Speak Now on Monday.
The 20-year-old covers this week's issue of People magazine where she talks about…well of course love.
While she normally doesn't talk about her personal life in public, we all know she loves to talk about it in song. So how has her love life been going? "There's been extreme joy, extreme pain, extreme curveballs," Swift tells PEOPLE, available on newsstands Friday. "Sometimes when things impact you so intensely, it takes writing a song to get over them."
So is Taylor single? "Being single is wonderful and I love it. I don't ever have a morning where I wake up and say, ';I really need to find a boyfriend today.'"
Taylor is also featured in Parade magazine, where she talks about marriage. "I've seen marriages be really great, and I've seen them be not so great. I've seen that people have to really work through love and fight for it, and I've been in relationships where you have to fight for it. And is it worth it?
"I don't think that love can possibly be easy all the time, in fact, most of the time it's going to be hard. I think it's important to try to find someone who's going to tell you, ';This is worth it,' when you're scared, and tell you, 'I'm never leaving you,' when you're doubting it. I think that's the most important thing."
Taylor is currently in Europe promoting her album. She'll be on a whirlwind press tour next week, performing at the UN, Regis & Kelly, the Ellen Show and more. Her single "Mean" is now available on iTunes.
