The Social Network appears to be a clear favorite for Oscars gold after picking up its 18th award from the Online Film Critics Society on Sunday.

The film, about the creation of the Facebook.com phenomenon, claimed Best Picture, Best Director (David Fincher) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin).

Colin Firth won Best Actor for The King's Speech and Natalie Portman was named Best Actress for her portrayal of a troubled ballet star in Black Swan. Christian Bale (The Fighter) and Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) won the Best Supporting Acting awards.
