Australian pop stars The Veronicas have joined a gory new anti-fur campaign – the twins appear holding skinned rabbits for a new animal rights advert.

Jessica and Lisa Origliasso have joined the likes of Pamela Anderson, Eva Mendes and Kate Winslet by starring in a promo for PETA. In the firm's latest advertising campaign, the Aussie stars are snapped holding what appears to be bloody, skinned rabbits alongside the caption: "Here's the Rest of Your Fur Coat".

The singers have previously criticized fashion designers for using fur in clothing lines and hope the new commercial will help stamp out the trend. Jessica tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph, "Designers that still use fur, to us it is just ignorant, it is unnecessary and it is unacceptable. We don't want to be an ignorant generation, we want to inform people. We can be the generation that makes the difference."

Are you against fur?
