Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps took the top spot at the box office this weekend. The movie, which is the long-awaited sequel to the 1987 movie, took in $19 million. The film stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan and Josh Brolin.

Warner Bros.' animated feature Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole opened in second place with $16.3 million, followed by The Town, which earned another $16 million on the weekend to take the No. 3 spot and increase its cumulative earnings to $49.1 million.

Rounding out the top 5 were Easy A with $10.7 million and You Again, which opened with $8.3 million.
