Marty McFly had some pretty sweet gadgets in Back to the Future II, and we wish we could get our hands on some of them. How awesome would it be to have a hoverboard?
Bosses at Nike are giving fans a chance to own something special from the hit movie. They are developing a limited edition line of the futuristic shoes Michael J. Fox's character Marty McFly wore in the movie to raise funds for the actor's charity foundation.
Only 1,500 pairs of the Nike Air Mag shoes will be available at auction on eBay.com, according to TMZ.com.
And it looks like you'll be "ahead of the times." Ironically, the McFly shoe appeared in the year 2015 in the time travelling sequel. All proceeds from sales will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which helps fund research on Parkinson's Disease.
The shoes feature an electroluminescent outsole, space-age materials and a rechargeable internal battery good for 3,000 hours. One thing they lack though…power laces.
